“There is no race. You arrive exactly when your soul is ready.”
The world moves fast. Or so it says.
Everywhere you look, someone seems ahead — happier, more settled, more certain.
And your anxiety clings to it: *I should be further along. I’m falling behind.*
But behind what?
Who told you there was a schedule?
Healing doesn’t follow a clock. Growth is not a race. And your worth is not a calendar event.
Sometimes the most sacred transformations happen slowly, like roots underground — invisible, but alive.
Let yourself be on *your* timeline. Let yourself be messy, unsure, unfolding.
You are not late to your own life.
You are exactly where your soul knows to begin.
Sit comfortably. Inhale deeply and say inwardly: 'I am not behind.' Exhale and say: 'I am exactly where I need to be.' Repeat this for 3 minutes, letting the rhythm reset your pace.
Today, notice when you compare your pace to someone else’s. When it happens, pause and place a hand over your heart. Say aloud or silently: 'My path is my own.'
Devon C. “I constantly felt like I was catching up to everyone else. But this helped me slow down — to trust that I’m not missing my life, I’m just learning how to live it at my own pace.”
You’re not behind. You’re becoming.
