“Closure is a gift you can give yourself.”
Some people ghost. Some lie. Some leave quietly with no warning or reason.
You deserve better — but you don’t need them to give it to you. You don’t need their words to find your peace.
Closure isn’t something you wait for. It’s something you create. A moment of truth, spoken gently to yourself:
‘I release what I’ll never understand. I let go, not because they deserve it, but because I do.’
Close your eyes. Place a hand on your chest. Say aloud: 'I don’t need them to finish this for me.' Breathe in your own power.
Write down what you wish they’d said. Then write what *you* needed to hear. Keep the second one.
Leo T. “They left without a word. I cried every day for weeks. But now I see — I gave myself the ending they never could.”
You are allowed to walk away without an explanation.
