Day 18: Planting Seeds in the Dark

“Just because you can’t see the growth doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.” — Walk the Hidden Path

Teaching

It’s hard to trust what you can’t see. Harder still when you’re used to measuring your worth by visible progress.

But healing isn’t always loud. It’s not always breakthroughs and bright mornings and declarations of joy. Sometimes, it’s sitting in the dark — and still choosing to stay.

You may not feel different yet. You may not see the change. But something is happening beneath the surface.

Think of seeds planted in the soil. They don’t sprout the moment they’re buried. They rest. They root. They prepare. Their work is invisible, but it’s essential.

Your quiet days count. Your effort to breathe counts. Your decision to keep going — even when you don’t feel like yourself — counts.

Trust that not all growth can be measured right away. Sometimes you are being transformed in the very moments that feel the most still.

You are not stuck. You are becoming. Even here. Even now.

Meditation

Sit in a dim or dark room. Place your hands over your belly. Breathe deeply and repeat: 'Even in darkness, I am growing.'

Action

Write down one thing you’ve done in the last week that took quiet strength — even if no one saw it. Celebrate it. Honor the seed it planted.

Success Story

Isa C. “This reminded me that just getting through the day *is* growth. I don’t have to wait for proof to believe I’m healing.”

The dark is not a dead end. It’s fertile ground.
