“You are not on the path. You are the path remembering itself.”
It’s easy to imagine that enlightenment or peace is a destination — some distant place you’ll reach if you just try hard enough.
But what if the real journey is a return? Not a striving, but a softening. Not an effort, but a remembering.
You are not broken. You are not missing the map. You are standing on sacred ground right now — even if you don’t yet feel it.
Home is not a place. It’s an experience of belonging — to yourself, to this breath, to the mystery holding everything.
Today, see if you can let go of the chase. Instead of trying to become more, try noticing what you already are — and how quietly enough that has always been.
Sit in a comfortable place. Breathe in gently and say silently: 'I am here.' Exhale gently and say: 'And that is enough.' Repeat for five minutes. Let the words become real.
Look around your space today. Find one object, gesture, or moment that reminds you of being 'home.' It could be the warmth of sunlight, a favorite mug, or your own breath. Pause. Feel the presence it brings. Let that be your sanctuary.
Darin E. “The moment I stopped searching for myself and started noticing what was already true — that’s when everything softened.”
You don’t have to earn your place in the world. You already belong.
